1:1 documentation
To maintain accountability, we have adopted Paylocity as a space for managers and employees to record progress, address roadblocks, define professional development targets, as well as share people-to-people connections such as personal challenges and/or triumphs.
Learn how to leverage Paylocity Journals to stay engaged and moving forward. This feature provides managers and employees with a private platform to document 1:1 meeting topics, agendas, action items, and more. With Paylocity Journals, you can:
- CHECK IN WITH TEAM MEMBERS: Facilitate two-way communication and easily track ongoing conversations between team members and leaders. Tag individuals for 1:1s, or to get a message out to a larger group, tag them all as additional contributors in one entry.
- CONTINUE CONVERSATIONS: Continuing business-as-usual and regular conversations with employees, provides a sense of stability and provides connections to a remote workforce. Use Journals to guide employee conversations around career progression, along with next steps and actions needed to move forward.
- TRACK PERFORMANCE: Track productivity, measure progress toward goals, and document corrective actions. Use Journals to encourage two-way communication between managers and employees so they can better understand goals. Use one of Paylocity's pre-built templates, like Weekly Check-In, to get started, or customize one to meet your own needs.
